one ingredient=ice cream

I saw a couple blogs talk about making ripe bananas into ice cream. Any post about ice cream catches my attention, and I thought... this is too good to be true. So, I put it to the test, and it past with an A+++. By no means am I claiming this to be my own recipe, I am going to give God the credit for this one :).

This is how you do it...
Find some ripe bananas (mine were brown on the outside)
Peel them.
Put them in a freezer bag.
Freeze them.
Take them out of the freezer and place in the blender.
Blend them until they are whipped. (this took a while)
Eat up the deliciousness.

This recipe is awesome because it is one ingredient... a healthy alternative to ice cream, unless.... you do this! I couldn't help myself, it tasted just like a banana split! I know that it defeats the purpose.

  1. No way! I'm going to have to try this. I'm going to the grocery store tomorrow and I'm buying bananas. This looks yummy!

This just might also get my kids to eat bananas because they don't like eating them!
