Easy as Pie Pie

This is a variation of a recipe I found for a raspberry cream pie. It is so easy and so great. I made blackberry because they were on sale. You can substitute whatever berry you like with the corresponding yogurt.

Easy as Pie Pie

1 package vanilla jello 3.5 oz
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 6 oz containers of blackberry yogurt
1 graham cracker pie crust
a couple handfuls of blackberries
2 tbsp white sugar

Put the sugar on the berries and let them sit while you prepare pie.
Mix together with a mixer on medium for 2 minutes jello and yogurt (this looks weird)
Add the cream mix for 1 minute on low, scraping sides.
Mix for an additional 2 minutes on high until the cream thickens.
Mix in with a spoon the berries, leaving a few to put on top.
Pour the mixture into the pie crust. Top with a few berries.
Freeze for a good 3 hours.
Allow to sit out for a bit before serving.
