This was an easy and very tasty recipe.
ingredient:
3tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1lb steak cut into 3 inch strips (I used carne asada)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cups broccoli
1 cup red bell peppers in slices
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tsp ginger
Cut beef into strips and mix in a ziplock with 2 tbsp cornstarch, 2 tbsp water and garlic powder.
In a large pan cook meat until cooked to desired doneness. (the meat looked gross at this point because of the cornstarch, but don't worry, it will look good after you add the soy sauce)
Remove meat, add more oil and cook broccoli and peppers until peppers are medium soft.
Return meat to skillet, add the rest of the ingredients, including the other 2tbsp cornstarch and water mixture. Simmer for 2-3 minutes. Serve on top white rice.
On a side note: I apologize for my lack of posts lately. I just finished my first trimester of pregnancy with my second child and I am unmotivated and tired all the time.... I am feeling much better lately, so I should (crossing fingers) be better.
