2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can chicken broth
1 4 oz can mushrooms
1 white onion chopped
4 chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
Add all ingredients in the crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or 4 hours on high. Serve on top rice.
This was easy, cheap and yummy.
So good I forgot to take a picture :).
This does look easy and yummy! I love a meal that cooks all day in the crock pot without me! :)
ReplyDeletesounds really good. I make a chicken and rice in the oven but this would be even better if running errands. Will have to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI made this last night and the creamy chicken alfredo the night before...you are my EXCLUSIVE blog for recipe ideas because they are soooooo practical!
ReplyDeleteWhen I make this, I call it "Chicken and Biscuits". I take out the removable insert from my crockpot which has the chicken/soupy gravy in there. Top with cheapo canned biscuits (1 or 2 cans - whatever fits) and put in a preheated oven to brown the biscuits. Its so yummy and is one of my hubby's favorite meals.
ReplyDeleteI just use one can of cream of chicken soup + 1 can of water. It makes plenty of "gravy".
I put the biscuits on there at the end of the day before serving. The chicken/gravy part will be already cooked at this point. The time in the oven just serves to brown the biscuits.
