Stuffed French Toast

I am all about yummy breakfasts on the weekend... I made this a few weeks ago and it was SO good I decided to share it with you.

Stuffed French Toast
2 eggs
splash milk
 cream cheese
any flavor jam

Spread cream cheese on a piece of bread and jam on another piece. Put the two pieces together like a sandwich. If you have fresh fruit... like strawberries cut up a few and put them inside the sandwich. Mix together egg and milk. Dip the whole sandwich in the mixture. Melt 1 pat of butter on a medium hot skillet/pan.  Place the sandwich on the hot pan, watch carefully and brown on each side.
Serve with butter and syrup. 


  1. oooh this reminds me of the grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches my gram used to make. you dont even need syrup on these babies!

  3. No... nothing spills jam was pretty sturdy. I did a quick dip in the egg mix so it wouldn't get too much egg.

    Omg... grilled PB and J! I cannot even imagine the goodness. I think you might have just created a monster!!!!

  4. OMG! I think I am getting fatter just looking at the picture! The only reason I took the little dears shopping today, was because i told Grandma and Grandpa they had to watch them in the store.LOL! Thanks for the compliment..I love photography..

  6. I tried these and they were a hit with half my family. Half my family didn't not like them, they just preferred regular french toast. But YAY for the other half of us who loved them!
