Grilled Salmon on Quinoa Salad

I have been making fish at least once a week for dinner, in an effort to be healthier. This has been a tough goal for me. I hate to cook fish... I always mess it up. I am really working on it, and I think I have come up with a fool proof salmon recipe... It is really easy, and very yummy.

Grilled Salmon

1tbsp butter
1tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup flour
salt and pepper to taste

Heat the butter and oil in a pan until it is bubbling. (The oil prevents the butter from burning.) Dredge the salmon fillet through flour mixed with salt and pepper and shake off the excess flour. Place fillet in hot oil and cook for 3 minutes on each time, or until fish flakes.

The butter seems to take away the "fishy" taste.

Serve on a Tabbouleh Salad.

  1. Huummmm, I love salmon and don't mind the fishy smell. Glad you found a way to prepare it without the smell. Thanks for posting the Tuna and Bean Waldorf Salad...now that's something new.

  4. Yumm! I'm a new followr! I love salmon. I do the same as you except I slice a lemon and add the slices on top of the filet and leave it in the oven for a few minutes. It just gives it a more lemony taste instead of the fishy smelly taste.
    Thanks for sharing!

Even though I don't like fish, this still looks really yummy.
