pumpkin chocolate chip cookies

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Mix together pumpkin, sugar oil and egg. Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in a separate bowl. Mix together milk and baking soda and add to the dry mixture. Add dry mixture to the pumpkin and mix together well.
Add vanilla and chocolate chips.

Drop by the spoonful on a greased cookie sheet and cook for 10 minutes at 350.

I have never successfully made cookies from scratch, until now! These were delightful.
