baked chicken parm





Baked Chicken Parm
1 package chicken strips
5-6 slices mozerella cheese
1 jar pasta sauce
1 cup water
1 package rotini noodles
fresh or dried basil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brown the chicken in a pan with oil, salt and pepper, just enough to sear outside, so about 1 minute on each side in a hot pan.
Place as much dry pasta as you can in the baking dish, pour jar of pasta sauce an the water on top of pasta, make sure it is submurged in the liquid.
Place chicken on top of pasta.
Cook in oven for about 45 minutes covered with foil.
Remove foil place cheese slices on top, return to oven until cheese melts.
Add basil as a garnish.
